Patrizia Bortolin oversees launch of Preidlhof’s official skincare line

Destination spa Preidlhof in South Tyrol, Italy, has introduced its own signature skincare line to help improve the external appearance of the epidermis, support overall skin health and promote relaxation of body and mind.

The environmentally-friendly vegan range is inspired by the wellness concept devised for Preidlhof by leading spa designer and transformational wellness coach, Patrizia Bortolin.

The new collection consists of:
• A cleansing milk.
• A cleansing oil.
• A moisturiser.
• A hydrating serum.
• A face mask.
• A multivitamin serum with vitamin C.
• An illuminating oil.
• A beauty balm.
• A moisturising spray essence.

The formulas are powered by stimulated plant stem cells mixed with a combination of Italian fruits. Preidlhof Skincare ingredients include stem cells from chilli peppers, prickly pear seed extract, edelweiss, organic grape skins, Sicilian lemon, apples and organic wheat bran.

The line will be showcased in a new Slow Facial treatment at Preidlhof in 2023 and become available for purchase in the destination’s spa, on its website and at other select retailers.

Bortolin created the products in collaboration with Francesca Di Lenardo, owner of skincare line Insium, and Monia Segato, a marketing specialist in the cosmetics industry.

“The goal was not just to create effective skincare, but to tap into the essence of what nature can offer,” said Bortolin. “We created an organic, natural and powerful cosmetic line with a strong Mediterranean influence.

“It’s a collection rooted in the philosophy of wellbeing and longevity; a holistic lifestyle leads to powerful changes for the better – for your body and mind," she concluded.

Some products – such as those for cleansing – are fragrance-free, while others have a gentle scent designed to have a pleasant effect on mood.

“We tried many versions of the products until we arrived at the formulas that best embody Preidlhof while also considering industry trends and the desires of consumers,” explained Segato.
